Kate Joy
I bring a warm and conversational approach to therapy that focuses on getting to know you as a person first. Because there is not a one-size-fits-all method of healing, therapy with me is collaborative.
We will work together to achieve compassionate liberation from shame, confidence in self-advocacy, self-paced trauma processing, and exploration of individual and social identity. We will also build routines that work for the neurodivergent brain and disabled body, not against it.
You will receive a unique, person-centered approach to therapy, focusing on the mind-body connection, feeling grounded, and establishing safety in one’s own body. By using a blend of somatic and attachment styles of therapy, you will have the space to explore your thoughts and process your feelings, all while maintaining your connection to the present moment.
